All of the furniture and architectural woodwork is made entirely from selected solid oak, walnut, olive and mahogany using traditional methods of construction. Only mature timbers from managed woodlands, where trees are felled on a carefully controlled basis, are used in Arttus furniture. The grain is carefully enhanced with hand-planning revealing the natural beauty of these fine hardwoods. For an antique appearance each item is meticulously hand-polished giving a rich, deep patina.
